WACAP Partners with KING 5 Television … for Kids

In a new partnership with King 5 Television, WACAP is thrilled to advocate for children in the Washington state foster care system who currently need permanent homes. Through WACAP’s nationally recognized project A Family for Me, many foster kids who don’t yet have families participate in a memorable day of activities designed just for them — an experience we videotape and that KING 5 Television spotlights on KING 5 Morning News on KONG and KING 5 News at Noon.

On this week’s A Family for Me you’ll meet Tiaira, age 13; you can watch the video clip featured on KING 5 Television here.

Enjoying the day with WACAP, Tiaira shares about the family she hopes to find

By highlighting these one-of-a-kind kids and their unique personalities for KING 5 Television’s broad audience, WACAP hopes to reach families who can give these children stable and loving places to call home.
