Giving Back: A Visit From Ava and Emma

WACAP brought Ava home to her family in October, 2006. Three years later, her sister Emma joined the family. Recently both girls, adopted from China, stopped by our Renton office to celebrate their adoption anniversaries. While it’s always a treat to see a WACAP family, this visit was extra special as the girls didn’t come empty handed. Wanting to give back, the girls brought in a stack of cozy quilts, handmade by their grandmother! These quilts will be used at our Children’s Hope Auction to raise funds to find families for children who need them.

Ava also had a monetary donation, which she worked hard all year to save up. These funds will be used to buy supplies for orphanages around the world!

Thank you, Ava and Emma! It was so lovely to see you, and happy adoption anniversary to both of you!
