An excerpt from Eric’s story, submitted on WACAP’s Success Stories Web Page
I was adopted on my second day of life, May 8, 1989. My parents had almost given up adopting another child when a representative of WACAP contacted them and said they had a boy waiting for them at Centralia General Hospital. … While not blood related, they are my parents … They taught me how to be a good person, to help people who needed it, to work hard for the things you want in life and to strive for success. I carry my last name with immense pride. …
Family are the people that care for you and love you unconditionally. I’m glad to have learned that through my parents. ~Eric
