As a nonprofit adoption agency, we depend on the involvement of our community to help us meet our mission of finding families for children.

WACAP was excited to learn this month that we received grants from the Northwest Children’s Fund, the Union Pacific FoundationThe RealNetworks Foundation and the Tulalip Tribes Charitable Fund, helping us serve children in state foster care through our US Kids program!

The support of these funders allows us to continue programs like A Family for Me — a unique opportunity for kids in state care to share about the family they’re dreaming of. With the added cooperation of partners like Seattle’s NBC Affiliate King 5 Television, these spirited kids’ messages reach thousands of families, and it’s with our community’s help that many of these kids find the family of their dreams.

We’re thankful for the ongoing support of our funders, which allows us to offer life-changing opportunities like this for children and for families.

WACAP (World Association for Children and Parents) is one of the largest and most experienced international nonprofit adoption and child assistance agencies in the United States. Since 1976, we’ve placed over 10,000 children with loving adoptive parents and provided food, medical care and education to more than 200,000 children around the world.
