Sunday Snapshot–A note from a WACAP Mom

skyler 672Our daughter has been with us for a month now. Since her arrival, the world has become a bit more interesting because we now see it through the eyes of a child. Even the most mundane objects fascinate her, and we are fascinated in turn. She loves being outside and she seems to have a special fondness for animals. She also loves to sing, and will burst into song at unexpected moments. We look forward to seeing her grow up, to seeing how her childhood interests evolve over time. It’s a joy to have her in our lives. She has only been with us for a month, but she entered our lives as if she has been with us for years. It’s truly remarkable!

WACAP (World Association for Children and Parents) is one of the largest and most experienced international nonprofit adoption and child assistance agencies in the United States. Since 1976, we’ve placed over 10,000 children with loving adoptive parents and provided food, medical care and education to more than 200,000 children around the world.
