At WACAP, our focus is on helping children achieve their full potential as they grow into adulthood. Because being raised in a family and attending school are crucial to a child’s well-being, WACAP has developed the Stay-in-School Project, which is helping vulnerable Ethiopian children stay with their parents or guardians and continue their education.

WACAP provides monthly subsidies to families in need, enabling them to keep their children in school and purchase food, clothing, and other basic necessities for the children. Each child receives support until they complete their education. Below are some of the children who have been served through this project.

WACAP (World Association for Children and Parents) is one of the largest and most experienced international nonprofit adoption and child assistance agencies in the United States. Since 1976, we’ve placed over 10,000 children with loving adoptive parents and provided food, medical care and education to more than 200,000 children around the world.
