Happy National Adoption Day!

National Adoption Day is celebrated each year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. It’s a national movement to raise awareness of the 100,000 children living in foster care waiting for permanent, loving, families.

Since the first National Adoption Day in 2000, 44,500 children have been adopted on this day! That is certainly something to celebrate!

WACAP has been finding families for children in foster care since 1976, including twins Caleb and Stella. You can hear more of their story in our winter edition of WACAP Today, which will be available soon!

WACAP (World Association for Children and Parents) is one of the largest and most experienced international nonprofit adoption and child assistance agencies in the United States. Since 1976, we’ve placed over 10,000 children with loving adoptive parents and provided food, medical care and education to more than 200,000 children around the world.

This is my sister and her beautiful family. Our family was wonderful before Caleb and Stella came into it, and now it is even more. We are all blessed to have the twins in our lives. I am one very lucky aunt because I have been able to have all 3 of their kids in my life. Thank you wacap for giving our family another reason to love.
